In daylight the metal man hunts for fresh blood. As dawn approaches he hands the catch to his little friend, a young vampire. During the night the metal man cannot see, and enters sleep mode.... counting on the little girl to turn him back on before dusk. On this particular morning, the metal man does not awaken.
